On [MARATHON DATE], Redx Anderson will run the 2026 New York City Marathon — one of the largest marathons in the world — with a single objective: raise at least $10,000 for cancer research.
Every dollar is raised through Fred's Team, the official running and fundraising program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). The funds support MSK doctors and scientists working on cancer research and clinical trials.
This marathon is not the finish line. It is the starting signal — the first public proof that this movement can mobilize people and produce measurable results. Every donation moves the goal forward. Every share brings the mission to someone new.

The first major milestone
The marathon's $10,000 goal is the first step toward something larger: the movement's first major milestone of $100,000 for cancer research.
The first $100,000 raised by this movement will be processed entirely through Fred's Team and directed to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. There, the funds provide resources for doctors and scientists to understand how cancer develops and spreads, discover new therapeutic targets, develop and test new treatment approaches, run clinical trials, and translate scientific findings into better treatments for patients.
What the movement fights for
The first $100,000 supports doctors and scientists at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center through Fred's Team. These funds help researchers understand cancer, develop new therapeutic approaches, run clinical trials, and turn scientific insight into treatment.
